As part of its 30th Anniversary Season, Benita Bike’s DanceArt Company performs at the new La Crescenta Library, a branch of the Los Angeles County Public Library system, on Saturday, March 5, 2:00 p.m. This performance at La Crescenta Library features a mixture of dance performance and audience interaction. Families and people of all ages are welcome to see live performances of original dances and then ask the questions they’ve always wanted to ask: How do you make a dance? How do the dancers learn to move that way? How do they remember all those moves? This performance will feature three dance works: “Eternal Encounter” with its martial arts feel, “Aliens,” with its childlike innocence, and excerpts from DanceArt’s newest dance work “Southern Memories” set to music of the American South.
