Four bands, one magical night. Come rock the night away with some of DC's finest local music benefitting The Washington Animal Rescue League's current Capital Campaign. Executive Director Scotlund Haisley will be on hand to play host, updating the crowd (between bands) on current WARL accomplishments and renovation updates. Bands slated to perform include: Sugoi (groove/rock); The Slow Learners (original mix of blues/funk & samples); Majorette; and one more band TBA.
Every penny of the $10 entry fee will be applied towards the League's renovation, which is now approximately 65% complete.
Come support the League and local music! The Velvet Lounge is located in DC's exciting U Street corridor and is metro accessible (green line).
