About the director:
Independent filmmaker Dillon Delvo, the son of a "Manong" (Filipino old timer), wrote, produced, edited, and directed this film as his thesis project for a Master's degree in Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University. His filmmaking debut is a deeply moving journey into the heart of a young generation searching for their roots. Moreover, it offers us a heart-wrenching and eye-opening perspective on the meanings of family, history, community, memory and place in Filipino American contemporary life.
