Imagine if it were you: Most children want a dog - your child needs one.
Most parents can get them one - you can’t!
Jessica is a brave little girl who was born with Down syndrome and heart defects that left her weakened. Her therapist has determined that a service dog would be of inestimable help in her continued improvement, development, and personal safety in learning to navigate the world in ways we take for granted. Unfortunately, such specially and intensively trained service dogs are expensive; a service dog to help Jessica with her special needs costs $26,000.00. Her parents can't pay but we can with your help with a benefit featuring a BBQ Dinner, Live and Silent Auctions, Raffle, and Live Music, With Performances by Richard Cagle & The Voodoo Choir, Clara McVille, and Cheyenne James.
$10 Ticket Includes:

Performances By
Richard Cagle & The Voodoo Choir
Richard Cagle has been a fixture of the Houston Texas music scene from the days of his first band "Shades of Time" with Joe "King" Curasco when he was in the seventh grade to managing and producing superb local talent such as Carolyn Wonderland, Under the Sun, Rosebud, Pasadena Napalm Division, and Clay Farmer to the 2010 first release of his latest project, The Voodoo Choir. He opened the Houston live music institution Urban Art Bar and is the co-owner of Montrose Records.
Clara McVille
Clara's rise to fame began in 2007, straight out of high school, when she headed to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Ten months into her LA acting pursuits, music came calling with an invitation to record with the legendary Gary Katz (Steely Dan, Joe Cocker, Diana Ross and many more). Having completed her 10 song recording, Clara moved back to Houston and began the work of getting her music to market. An accomplished actress and pianist as well as singer, Clara has performed in 7 movies, numerous TV commercials , and theater productions.
Cheyenne James
Cheyenne began singing at the age of three; earning the name "Lil Miss Blue Eyed Soul." She has performed at Texas roadhouses, restaurants, festivals and private functions from Victoria to Paris , TX . Her favorite genre is Old Rhythm & Blues, from Sam Cooke to Etta James, but also does current music from Adele to Kid Rock, and tears up Janis Joplin. As a member of the National Thespian Society she has performed in Edinburgh, Scotland at the Fringe Festival, and has been nominated for the TUTS Tommy Tune Award. Performing at a benefit is natural to her, as she has been giving her time and voice to good causes each year since the age of five.
