BENEFIT FOR CURE JM
PIP SQUEAK A GO GO HOSTS A DANCE PARTY FOR ALL AGES
WHO: Pip Squeak a Go Go hosts a benefit for Juvenile Myositis - CURE JM, a very rare auto-immune disorder that affects just 5,000 children in the U.S. Of that statistic - two - live in Alameda. The Pip Squeak A Go Go benefit is in honor Mielle Gonzales, a 7-year old Alameda resident recently diagnosed with Juvenile Myositis, a very rare auto-immune disorder. Mielle's mom, Suzy Clement has joined forces with the CURE JM Foundation (www.curejm.org) and has been working hard to raise awareness for the disease and funds. Last month Suzy and Alameda moms came together to train and complete a half marathon raising over $16,000 for CURE JM. Learn more about the Gonzales family's experience with the diagnosis and disease and Suzy's training at www.mamajog.com or www.mielle-jdm.blogspot.com.
