TORONTO, April 12 /CNW/ -

<<
WHAT: Benefit event in support of Toxic Nation, Environmental
Defence's campaign focused on toxic chemicals and health. The
evening celebrates individuals who are fighting pollution in
their communities. Two pollution fighters from Aamjiwnaang
First Nation, near Sarnia, will share their stories of living
at ground zero in an internationally-recognized pollution
hotspot.

Nationwide tests conducted as part of Environmental Defence's
Toxic Nation campaign have found toxic chemicals polluting the
blood of Canadians young and old no matter where they live.
Four federal politicians were recently tested and found to be
polluted with dozens of chemicals. (www.toxicnation.ca)
