Formed by five musicians who played in various bands , High Voltage has burned the stages of Belgian clubs since September 92' and has got from there it's fame. They only play AC/DC hits, and are specified in Bon's era. The lead guitar's virtuosity can't be closer to the one of Angus Young's and the singer is an amazing mixture of Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. On the other hand, the rhythm section is the clone of the original . In 93', High Voltage played headlines by a lot of festivals. In 94', they played the opening at the Motorcycles 24H of Francorchamps. In 95', they opened for Glenn Hughes, Mercyful Fate , Girlschool and many other English bands in various festivals. In 96' and 97', High Voltage kept on touring, played headlines in Belgium and also abroad. Early 98', High Voltage released a live album. It is a tribute to Bon Scott and is recorded during their shows . The "If you Wanna Rock'n'Roll" album is released in September and the band promotes it since then through Belgium and Europe. "Whole lotta Rosie", from the High Voltage album, is part of the compilation made by the French Hard Rock magazine for the AC/DC 2001 World Tour with that mention "This Belgian tribute-band could replace AC/DC incognito no one could see it"
In 2001, they open for Status Quo at Forest National in Brussels in front of 8.000 enthusiastic rockers. Between 2002 and 2007, they keep on touring abroad Germany , Luxemburg , France , The Netherlands and Belgium and opened for a lot of famous rock bands Now they begin to write an album in the style of their Australian idols. The band keeps on touring where ever requested, be it in festivals or clubs.
