Robert Goolrick- is the author of the memoir and golden bestseller The End of the World as We Know It. His work has been acclaimed by The New York Times, Kirkus Reviews, and People Magazine among others. The Reliable Wife, his fictional debut, has also gained critical praise from Publisher’s Weekly and will hit shelves on March 31st, 2009. Mr. Goolrick resides in New York City.
Darin Strauss - is the international bestselling author of More Than It Hurts You, the New York Times Notable Book The Real McCoy, and Chang and Eng. His most recent novel, More Than It Hurts You, was a national bestseller and is coming out in paperback in May. His second novel, The Real McCoy, was named a “Los Angeles Times Best Book” of the Year and one of the “25 Best Books of the Year” by the New York Public Library. His first novel, Chang and Eng, earned him various honors including an ALA-Alix Award in 2000 and Literary Lions Award. Also a screenwriter, he is adapting Chang and Eng for Disney with actor Gary Oldman. Mr. Strauss was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship for Fiction Writing in 2006. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and teaches writing at NYU for which he won an “Outstanding Dozen” teaching award.
