Want to try jazz dance? UNM Continuing Education invites teens ages 13-17 to learn the basics of jazz, practice exercises to stretch and tone muscles, and discover a fun way to release tension. Using jazz, soul, Rhythm and Blues, ethnic and pop music, this class is a great way to work out. Whether you’ve danced before or are a newcomer, join us for a jazzy 8 weeks. Classes take place at Rio Rancho High School, located at 301 Loma Colorado SE in Rio Rancho, NM. This course runs for 7 sessions starting February 1, 2011, ending March 22, 2011 on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30pm. Tuition is $97.
