Open to adults and young people over 16; a great starter guitar course for beginners.

This course is a series of 10 x 45 minute lessons aimed at adults, and young people* with little or no experience of playing guitar. The course provides the fundamentals of technique and elementary theory. After lesson 10 students will have the skills and knowledge to develop their guitar playing independently and with confidence. The course encompasses a core set of universal skills, whilst remaining flexible, to take into account students' individual musical tastes.

Course tutor Adam Dubale is an entirely self-taught guitarist who says.. "given an entry-level course of basic lessons such as this, I could have progressed the same amount in 10 weeks as I did in my first year. I believe that there is more satisfaction to be gained from the freedom of teaching yourself to play than spending years in formal lessons. This course provides students with an invaluable spring-board into the wonderful world of guitar!"

Times: 45 minute lessons from 4.00pm, 5.00pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm
