Beginner Djembe Hand-drumming Weekly Afternoon Classes! February 28, 2013

February 28 thru April 25, Weekday Afternoon Djembe Classes!
An Intro Workshop the first day, followed by a Weekly Class Series.

9 Thursdays in all, 4-5:30pm. With Barbara Gail of The Rhythm Inlet. Welcome all adults, motivated teens, and youth ages 10 and up w/ instructor permission. No musical experience needed.

Learn to play the most popular hand-drum! We focus on hand technique, learning rhythm patterns, how to find your place in the beat, and playing as a polyrhythmic ensemble. Perfect for the raw beginner as well as folks with some exposure who seek instruction with a solid foundation. A positive experience for all!

Note: Wanna check it out to see if it's right for you? You're welcome to pre-pay for and try the first class only, before committing to the Series. The first class is our Intro Workshop and kicks off our Weekly Beginner Djembe Series. It can stand alone as a single experience, or serve as your opportunity to try a class before committing to all 9 weeks.

If you are prepared to register for the Series in full, there is no need to register or pay for the Workshop, it's included in the Series price.

If you'd like to take the Workshop before committing to the Series, you may register and pre-pay for that day only. Your balance for the remaining classes is due before you leave! Your total amount for the Series is the same. So bring your payment, just in case you decide, "Yeah! I wanna keep on drumming!".

Intro Workshop first day: $25. Add $5 for in-class drum rental, or BYO appropriate drum.

All 9 Weeks of Class: $120. Add $27 for in-class drum rental for the Series, or BYO appropriate drum.
