ABOUT THE FEATURE FILM
If Ever I Cease To Love is a timely and engaging documentary that explores post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans, a town that invented what we know as American music. Since Hurricane Katrina, those who once founded such an integral aspect of our culture have now been destroyed, displaced and abandoned. What will New Orleans musicians make of this betrayal? Will they bounce back like they always have in tough times? Or will the systematic neglect since the storm finally drive them to give in? What does this really say about what our culture and spirit of this country has become?
ABOUT THE FUNDRAISER
The party will help raise funds to bring the documentary crew to New Orleans to film the musicians at home. We're going to have food, dollar beer, and we'll screen a short demo of the documentary!
