As successfully executed last season, a Beer-and-Blog tweetup at a Portland Timbers match. The team is moving up to MLS next season, and the crowds are immense and rowdy and fun. Meet before the match for a beer at the Bitter End Pub or Cheerful Bullpen Tavern (OR AT THE TAILGATE: SEE BELOW), stop by the TA trailer at 20th and Morrison for some merchandise to wear, then buy a general admission ticket at the gate and make your way to the North End of the stadium, where the Timbers Army reigns. (A good meetup spot is in the bleachers ABOVE the Army, sections 203-210.) Afterparty = Koi Fusion/Spudnik carts at NW 20th and Burnside and/or the Bitter End Pub. See you there!
NOTE: THERE **WILL** BE A TAILGATE BEFOREHAND IN THE PARKING LOT AT SW 18TH AND SALMON. DETAILS TK CLOSER TO THE DATE.

Tailgate will include a Timbers Army Bachelor Auction with proceeds going to benefit the TA Tifo Fund (the amazing displays of color, banners and art you see around the stadium). Tailgate will be held in parking lot at SW 18th & Morrison starting about 2-3pm. More details next week.

will be there for the tail gating, probably part of the game. but i want to make the night ride also.
