Because of the Economy February 25, 2010

Michele Pred curates new work by seventeen California College of the Arts students. The exhibition--which includes paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture, illustration, and metal arts--offers an oasis for thought away from the troubles of the national deficit. "Because of the Economy" is part of a course that introduces students to the professional practices necessary to participate in the art world. Today's emerging artists need every tool available in order to become thoughtful, productive members of their fields. The show continues from February 24th-27th.
