Beautiful People - Solo Show by Dinabandhu Marndi. Dinabandhu Marndi is an emerging young artist, who uses photo ink to create large, vibrantly beautiful human portraits. With humble roots in rural Orissa, Marndi's latest set of works reflect on 'life in a metro' celebrating India's new growth yet wishing it could include all. In 'Beautiful People,' his first solo show, he quietly and semi-autobiographically stakes this claim, using the living colour and indomitable humanity of his works to show that beauty and dignity shine bright, no matter where a person is found or from.
