Beauregard Watermelon Festival June 28, 2012

We are pleased to announce that the 7th Annual Beauregard Watermelon Festival will be held June 28-30,2012 at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds in DeRidder,Louisiana. Thursday come to the Indoor Stage at 5pm for the Opening Ceremony "Cutting of the Melon" with FREE watermelon!Stay for the celebrity seed spitting contest, Meet & Greet with our sponsors and local supporters and the Pageant for ages 7 and up at the outdoor stage. Friday the pageant for ages 6 and under will be at the Indoor Stage begins at 6pm, also on the outdoor stage see Shadow Road, 200th Louisiana Bicentennial Fire Works Show, Willie Tee & Cypress with special guest Tommy McClain. Saturday some of the Indoor and Outdoor Stages will have David Gish Magic Show,Bee Bpo Girls,Ron Yule & Friends,Louisiana Kids,Seed Spitting Contest, Watermelon Eating Contest, Da' Classics, Watermelon Idiol Talent Show, Louisiana Scramble Band, Bernie Alan.The Watermelon Festival 5k Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run will start at 7:30am.
