Bearracuda Portland January 15, 2011

Hey Portland guys!

Phew! It has been a complete whirlwind since the last Bearracuda in Portland. Bearracuda is now in 16 cities (it's true!) and honestly, we needed some time to step back and regroup. Well, we work quickly and the next Bearracuda should be a ton of fun.

We're going to be trying out a new location on Saturday, January 15th. The goal of moving to this new space is to give guys a new experience and make this party unique, compared to Bearracuda in other cities. A little more edgy, a better space for social interaction and definitely more sexy. It may take us a couple of times to get it right, but please let us know what you think!

Portland

OK, so what's changing?! Our new location is in N. Portland (where bears go to hibernate) and pretty close to the Eagle. Saratoga has reasonably priced drinks and serves meals as well. We have drink specials for shirtless guys and go-go bears shaking their goodies for you. Feel free to tip these guys, they'll all be in jockstraps or less!

Right now, we're only able to the patio open till 11pm, but we're working on getting that extended. We have pinball, a photo booth, tasty snacks and friendly, furry guys all over. $5 all night.

Bearracuda is at Saratoga - 6910 N. Interstate Ave. You can take the yellow MAX line to Rosa Parks or N Lombard TC station. Trains run very late to downtown. It's also 15min walk or 3min drive from the Portland Eagle to Bearracuda.

Bearracuda is the largest attended bear dance party in the United States w/regular parties in LA, San Francisco & Seattle one-offs in NYC, Austin, Atlanta & Sydney. 16 cities TOTAL across the world. Voted "Best club for queer men" in 2008, 2009, 2010 by the San Francisco Bay Guardian.
