Bead Expo will be making its first appearance in Phoenix at the Phoenix Convention Center. Anyone who has a love for beading, or just a general interest in jewelry, does not want to miss this event. Bead Expo is open to the general public and will offer endless opportunities to shop for professionally created designs, as well as tools to create unique jewelry. A variety of classes will be offered taught by nationally acclaimed instructors, and people with all experience levels are encouraged to enroll.
Bead Expo Phoenix will feature more than 60 booths and 70 workshops taught by bead and jewelry experts from around the country. Participants can register for hands-on workshops on bead stitching, bead crocheting, chain maille, clay, design, metal clay, metalsmithing, wire and beads, wire knitting, wire weaving, and wire wrapping.
Bead Expo has teamed up with the Arizona Diamondbacks for a night of Beads and Baseball. The Diamondbacks will be taking on the New York Mets Friday, May 2, at the Chase Center. Tickets are $10 (normally $20) for Bead Expo attendees, vendors, and teachers. Come and socialize with fellow beaders, vendors, and teachers to enjoy an evening of baseball.
