Beach Sweep June 19, 2010

Students will learn about the dynamics of the coastal environment while also doing a community service project. Topics such as coastal erosion, tides and currents will be discussed. Also the students will learn all about the dynamics of the swash zone. Marine life and the importance of drift materials such as shells and drift seeds will be discussed.
