5 aside competition: 4 on the field, plus a goalkeeper.
3x12 min. periods played with 2 min. rest in between.

"You can’t ear [sic] shoes, the field is much shorter than that of a grass field (making scoring easier) and there’s tons of DJs providing the soundtrack to this all day beach soccer festival at Ocean Beach near Fulton. Fun for spectators includes live percussion, samba dancers and bikini fashion show and jui-jitsu in the fighting cage. Games start at 9am, but you know how prompt Brazillians are… Source: SF Weekly"
