'Be Creative @ Your Library' Bash August 1, 2009

Free festivity wraps up reading program

MARIETTA, GA – The Cobb County Public Library System’s free end-of-summer bash takes place Aug. 1, 10 a.m.–noon at the Central library in Marietta for children ages 11 and younger.
The bash is the culmination of the summer-long reading program, ‘Be Creative @ Your Library’ The party includes storytelling, crafts and other activities.

The ‘Friends of the Library’ sponsor this celebration, and it is a way of congratulating the kids and parents for taking part in a summer of reading.
Events will take place inside of the library and on the front entrance of the library on Roswell Street. Children attending the bash must be accompanied by an adult.
