Be creative in March - join Westfield Brandon and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days featuring “Arts and Culture.” Kids will learn about famous artists and their mistakes – making art more accessible.
On March 15, join us at Shakeout, located near JCPenney, for story time starting with The Magical Garden of Monet by Laurence Anholt, a book about a chance meeting with Monet. Beautiful Oops by Barney Saltzberg follows suit, teaching children that it’s okay to make a mistake, especially where art is concerned. Kids will then tap into their own creativity and create a beautiful tissue-paper flower, and enjoy a sweet treat, compliments of Shakeout.
Also near JCPenney on March 15, because Westfield Brandon cares about the safety of your kids, we are partnering with Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office to provide parents a free Kids Fingerprinting opportunity. The Sheriff’s office will be available between 4pm-7pm to speak with parents and prepare you in the event of an emergency when every second counts. Each parent will receive a free computer flash drive to store vital information about your family including your child fingerprints.
