BBQ BOWL May 16, 2009

The games will take place during the annual Memphis in May celebration. The bar-b-que bowl will feature three semi-pro football games on the day a 12pm, 3:30 and 7pm. The Soul will be matched up against a very solid opponent in the Gridiron Gorillaz team from Horn Lake, MS. The Soul and Gorillaz draw the second game at 3:30 p.m. Port city Snipers vs Tennessee Hurricanes playing the first game at 12pm and Dallas Diesel vs Memphis Blast in the prime time game at 7pm. Blast Entertainment president and team owner Charles Thompson has announced plans to turn this year’s event into a day-long affair. With each game offering a championship trophy to the winners as well as individual player honors, including Most Valuable Player honors.
