Bay Area Shakespeare Camps - Peninsula & South Bay June 21, 2010

Kids get in the act at Bay Area Shakespeare Camp!
Multiple convenient Peninsula and South Bay locations.

This fun and exciting program is designed for anybody ages 7-18 who is interested in acting and performance - prior experience welcome but not required.

Two-week camps meet weekdays, 9:00 am-3:00 pm (optional aftercare available for ages 7-13 camps until 5:30 pm) and provide a complete theatrical experience, with training and experience in voice and movement, stage combat, discovering Shakespeare's world, creating scenery, props, and costumes, and a performance for family and friends on the final day of camp.

Through a series of fun and interactive activities newcomers to the stage will experience the thrill of their first performance; those who have acted before will hone and expand their dramatic skills.

Teaching artists are trained theater professionals - actors, directors, and educators. All utilize our highly effective curriculum, proven successful in engaging children with Shakespeare and theater for 18 years! Scripts, materials, and supplies for the performance are all included.

Our strongest endorsement comes from the campers themselves; many are repeats from prior sessions or friends of camper who also want to get in the act.
