The Bay Area Rainbow Symphony (BARS) continues to champion LGBTQ composers and musicians, threading the theme of fate through its concert on Saturday March 16th at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music at 8pm. Maestra Jessica Bejarano will return to BARS as guest conductor, opening the program with Polish composer Grazyna Bacewicz and her Overture for Orchestra. Internationally known virtuoso Daniel Glover will then mark his third appearance with the orchestra to perform Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2. Bejarano and the ensemble will conclude with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4. Tickets range from $15 through $35. Reservations and information available at bars-sf.org.
