BALUG meets the third Tuesday of each month. We talk about Linux and share large portions of Chinese food. At only $11.00 per person for dinner, this is one of the best epicurean deals in the city. Dinner starts promptly at 7:10 PM. You're also welcome to meet up with us as early as 6:30 PM by the bar for some social chat, etc. We usually meet in the 3rd Floor Banquet Facility: "The China Room", but sometimes we eat and/or meet in the main dining facilities on the 2nd floor; just ask where the BALUG meeting is when you arrive and you'll be pointed to the appropriate place.

HI, Just an update, www.balug.org back online but the mailing lists are still down.
Our speaker had to cancel but we still should have a good meeting. Will try to arrange for a speaker but no promices.

We are pleased to host Bill Kendrick as tonight's guest speaker. Bill is the author of many open source games and software toys, including the very popular Tux Paint, which he will present after dinner.

We are having to change our colo provider, this was unplanned for! Person who was doing the main sysadmin duty and provided the host, suddenly stopped, He maybe planned it but did not give us much warning.
We hope things will be changed soon!
