Military drills, skirmishes and cannon fire will highlight two action- filled days, including reenactments of the battles of Glorieta Pass and Apache Canyon fought near Santa Fe during the War Between the States. Visit Confederate and Union camps, talk to Spanish soldados and more.

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, May 1 and 2, 2010, 10 am to 4 pm. Civil War battle re-enactments each day at 2:00. Also: Special candle-lantern tours on Saturday night by appointment only.

WHERE: El Rancho de las Golondrinas Living History Museum, just south of Santa Fe at 334 Los Pinos Road.
From I-25, take Exit 276 and follow “Las Golondrinas” signs.

HOW MUCH: Adults: $8, Seniors (62+) and teens (13-18): $5, Kids 5-12: $3, Under 5 free.
