Designated as BEST LIVE ACT at the first Scots Trad Music Awards in 2003, BATTLEFIELD BAND has been performing on the international scene since 1969. Inspired by their rich heritage of Scottish traditional music and fired by the strength of Scotland’s modern cultural scene, Battlefield Band pioneered the integration of bagpipes with fiddle, keyboards, guitar and voice, mixing old songs and tunes with new self-penned material. Join them in this special concert as the band named after the Battlefield area of Glasgow, Scotland, says farewell to their founder and welcomes his successor. Reserved seats + free parking.
