Battle of the Bands at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa February 24, 2011

Hard Rock International is giving local bands the chance to win a spot on the lineup at Hard Rock Calling 2011 in London’s Hyde Park, one of the world’s most anticipated music festivals.
Hard Rock Cafe Tampa is on the hunt for the area’s best talent to perform in Tampa’s first round of the battle, where bands will compete live and be evaluated by a panel of local celebrity judges and area music professionals.
Rockers who think they have what it takes to make it to the main stage must complete an application found at www.hardrock.com or at the Hard Rock Cafe Tampa hostess stand beginning on Jan 3, 2011. Deadline for application submission is 5 p.m. on Jan. 24 at the Cafe hostess stand.
Chosen applicants will play in a preliminary round on Feb. 24 at 10 p.m. Three bands will be selected to advance to the Finals to take place at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa on Mar. 3. The winner that night will be judged against other winners on www.hardrock.com and the bands with the most votes from each international region will play at Hard Rock Calling in London in June 2011.
