The MOC's Sesquicentennial Brown Bag Lunch Series
After 1st Manassas in July 1861, there was very little fighting; and there were very few casualties in both armies. The Battle of Shiloh changed everything. Two days of fighting produced 25,000 casualties, over five times as many as 1st Manassas; and both North and South suddenly realized that this was going to be a long and very bloody conflict.
Join Museum President and CEO Waite Rawls to discuss the Battle of Shiloh.
Bring your lunch to the Museum and commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War!
Date: Friday, April 20, 2012
