Battle of Midway Commemoration Dinner June 7, 2008

Cocktails and dinner to honor veterans of the Battle of Midway, the turning point of the Pacific Theater of World War II. Speakers include Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Gary Roughead and Congressman Ander Crenshaw. Approximately 20-25 veterans of the battle will be in attendance, in addition to the USS Yorktown Reunion Group. Tickets are $55 and may be purchased by calling Bill McLoughlin at 904-285-8731 by June 1. No tickets will be available at the door. Sponsorships to cover costs for the veterans may also be purchased by calling Bill. This event is hosted annually by the Mayport Chapter of the Navy League of the United States.
