Take to the streets and show off your soccer skills at TFC Street presented by Samsung. This 4 on 4 freestyle caged in soccer tournament is coming to Sherway Gardens (Hwy 427 & the QEW) on Sunday, August 16 from 9am-4pm in the northeast parking lot.
“TFC Street is a great event that allows soccer enthusiasts to showcase their skills the way the game was originally created and played all over the world…on the street,” says Miguel Ferreira, Coordinator, Game Development, Toronto FC. “It’s a great community event focused on growing the sport of soccer within the younger, more urban demographic.”
TFC Street is a freestyle soccer tournament played in the confines of a 60’x40’ cage. Registered teams compete in a minimum of three scheduled round robin games, followed by the chance to advance to the knock out round.
Participants will also get a chance to meet Toronto FC players, win great prizes and be entertained by a Red Bull DJ spinning the latest tracks on site.
