In celebration of Abraham Lincoln’s two-hundredth birthday, Cultures in Motion presents Battle Cry of Freedom: A Musical Tribute to Abraham Lincoln. The two part music festival program will offer choral performances by the Choral Arts Society, and individual piano and solo recital by composer Alan Mandel and soprano Janice Chandler Eteme. Part II includes the premiere of a piano concerto commissioned by the Portrait Gallery specifically for this tribute.
