On Thursday, June 17th the Roof Terrace Restaurant at The Kennedy Center will host a Batch Bourbon Tasting reception from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. In celebration of summer, the Batch Bourbon Tasting will feature Makers Mark, handcrafted, small-batch bourbon whiskey that has been aged for six to seven years; Basil Hayden's, the lightest bodied bourbon whiskey in the Jim Beam small batch family; and Knob Creek, aged for nine years, this bourbon has a dark, golden-brown color and a flavor that is fairly distinct due to its light sweetness. The evening will also include hors d’oeuvres by Chef Joe Gurner. The Batch Bourbon Tasting is priced at $30 per person and reservations are limited.
