►MARCO DEL HORNO- From his early beginnings on the UK garage scene 10 years ago to his current status as ‘Bullet Train’ label boss, producer, Rinse.FM presenter, Ministry resident and co-director of the Go Management agency – at 26, Marco Del Horno is a man who’s going places. With the release of this, his debut mix compilation Bullet Train Volume One, it’s time for the wider world to find out exactly what he’s all about.
Take 1 part garage, 1 part house and 1 part dubstep and the result is Marco Del Horno.
►STATIX Introducing Statix. Radio plays from the likes of Caspa, Rusko and Crissy Criss followed a “mini-mix” request on the infamous Mary anne Hobbs Radio 1 show. the spotlight was significantly placed upon “Mind over Matter” which even featured on Mary anne Hobbs’ US Tour blog beside the lies of Chase n Status, Joker and Plastician. “Mind over Matter” was then chosen to be released on “Screwloose Records” where it would join highly desired up and coming releases from the likes of KOAN SOUND and ASA. Look out for the anthem that is “Anymore”, co-produced with EDDIE K, seeing a release on H.E.N.C.H. this month!
►RACK N RUIN- One of the most exciting producers working in the London bass scene..."
This young London producer has already harnessed the support of BBC’s Annie Mac, Nick Grimshaw, Kissy Sell-Out, Toddla T, Dj Zinc, Fake Blood, Shy FX, Jack Beats, Boy 8-Bit, and many more with his latest releases.
Known for carving his way neatly through haunting electro-organs and dramatic synth-stabs, his production seems to demand ‘hands in the air’ moments at every turn, while his genre-crossing DJ sets call for all out dance floor warfare.
► PUNX SOUNDCHECK- The partnership of John Taylor and Arif Salih brings together their ever eveolving fusion of dubstep, electro and fidget.
