BASKIN-ROBBINS LAUNCHES “CONES FOR KIDS” IN SUPPORT OF CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS OF CALIFORNIA

Month-Long Program Features Special In-Store Fundraising Events on August 19th

WHAT: Baskin-Robbins, America’s favorite neighborhood ice cream shop, announces the “Cones for Kids” program to help support nine Children’s Hospitals in California. Participating Baskin-Robbins stores throughout the state are collecting donations on behalf of their local Children’s Hospital through the end of August. Additionally, participating Baskin-Robbins stores will host special in-store fundraisers on Wednesday, August 19th from 6:00 p.m. until close. Stores will donate 20-percent of sales from these events directly to their local children’s hospital, providing a great way for families to enjoy a treat while supporting a worthy cause.

Throughout the month of August, customers can visit a California Baskin-Robbins store to make a donation to their local Children’s Hospital. Everyone who donates will be given a pink paper cone to fill out and post in their neighborhood Baskin-Robbins store to signify their donation.

Baskin-Robbins “Cones for Kids” program benefits Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Children’s Medical Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, Cottage Children’s Hospital, UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Central California, Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego, Children’s Hospital & Research Center of Oakland, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System.
