Baskin-Robbins Hosts “Celebrate San Diego” to Show Appreciation to Local Community and Honor Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego June 2, 2012

To show its appreciation for its loyal guests, Baskin-Robbins will be hosting a special event called “Celebrate San Diego” to honor Baskin-Robbins’ commitment to San Diego and also bring the community together to support an important cause – Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego.

Baskin-Robbins is inviting the local community to join the celebration. During the event, Baskin-Robbins will be offering “.31 cent scoops” to demonstrate their guest appreciation and attendees will enjoy live entertainment and fun giveaways.

As part of the “Celebrate San Diego” initiative, Baskin-Robbins shops throughout San Diego will collect in-store donations throughout the month of June in support of the hospital and the Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation. Customers who make an in-store donation will be given a pink cone to post in their neighborhood Baskin-Robbins. The pink cones will serve as a visual that showcases the collaborated efforts of the local community and Baskin-Robbins to bring health and happiness to children throughout San Diego.

A ceremonial cake cutting to celebrate a donation of $3,100 awarded on behalf of all local Baskin-Robbins locations to the Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego will take place at 1:00 p.m.
