Basile the GREEK removes the Chicago Cubs Billy Goat curse just in time for home opener!
Basile the GREEK is in for the WEEK! April 9th, 10th & 11th
SPECIAL SHOW IN GREEK Thursday!
Greek comedian Basile, who's legal name is Vasilis Katsikis, which literally translates to Billy Goat, will take the curse off the Chicago Cubs for them to win the World Series this year! Only a GREEK, with a name of BILLY GOAT, can take the curse off the Chicago Cubs. Basile will dress in Goatcho Libre’ style, with a blue Cubs cape and official Cubs jersey and perform a six minute interpretive dance of the "history of the curse" to the music of RAVEL'S BOLERO. The ceremonial dance will take place at original Billy Goat Tavern near the Tribune Towers and the Wrigley Building. At the climatic crescendo of RAVEL'S BOLERO, Basile will drive a sword through a makeshift goat like structure and put an end to this dreaded curse once and for all! You can catch Basile in the Greek Independence Parade Sunday, April 5th. Basile has entertained millions of comedy fans in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Africa. His unique blend of material, improvisation, and characters has made him one of the most sought after comedians in the entertainment industry today. Basile’s diversity in entertainment continues as he stars in his critically acclaimed series, “Growing Up Greek in America.” Visit: http: http://www.opabasile.com/ Showtimes: Thurs: 7:30PM Fri: 8:00PM & 10:15PM Sat: 7:00PM & 9:15PM Tickets: $17 & $20
