Polish vocalist, Basia, launched her solo career in 1987 after many successful years with the pop band Matt Bianco. Supported by the singles "New Day for You" and "Time and Tide," her debut solo album became a platinum-selling hit in Europe and America. Her jazz-pop versatility continued to excel on future albums and she earned more hits with "Cruising for Bruising", “Promises”, and “Drunk On Love”. Basia fuses stick-in-your-head-for-days melodies with complex arrangements that don’t overshadow the heartfelt lyrics or stunning instrumentation. Her fifth solo album, "It's That Girl Again", was released last year.
