Barry George: Sculptures February 1, 2009

Austin based Barry George has been welding sculpture birds out of garden tools and bicycle forks since 1987 and has expanded his body of work over the years to include various animal and human forms, many being politically expressive. For his show at the Wildflower Center, pieces have been chosen and specially created to touch on themes of nature and figure.
