Barrier Beginnings EELE (Environmental Education Learning Experience). Barrier Beginnings workshop offers the opportunity for a closer look at barrier island ecology as well as a glimpse into the past of Fort Macon. This class will provide hands-on environmental education opportunities for the classroom and an outdoor setting while instructing students about the dynamics of barrier islands.
