Bark for the Cure October 4, 2008

Bark for the cure will be a 5k fun run/walk that will raise money and awareness for canine cancer research. All proceeds will benefit the Freshpet Foundation, a charity whose mission is to improve the understanding of nutrition’s role in the prevention and treatment of disease in dogs, including cancer. To participate in the run/walk, adults are asked to donate $15 per adult and $1 for dogs. Children under 10 can join for free. For those who are not participating in the 5k, but wish to attend the after event, admission is free. After the 5K, come together with fellow dog lovers at the Bark for the Cure Canine Celebration, featuring food, music, human- and dog-related vendors and services, disc dog exhibitions and agility courses.
