Bark and Brew for the Ankeny Dog Park July 25, 2009

Dogs and their owners are invited to bring leashes and lawn chairs for the Ankeny Dog Park’s 2009 Bark and Brew – Saturday, July 25, at Chips Restaurant.

The outdoor “dog party” gives dog-lovers and their four-legged friends a chance to socialize while raising support for an off-leash dog park.

Highlights include:
•Agility demonstrations – an obstacle course of jumps, chutes and weave poles – by Canine Craze Performance Center
•Doggie treats and refreshments for sale from Brown Dog Bakery
•Grilled hot dogs, brats and hamburgers, plus beverages for sale from Chips
•Music, entertainment and prize drawings

Admission is $5 for dogs; people are admitted free.
