Figaro! Figaro!! Figaro!!! Watch opera's most beloved schemer, Figaro, and you'll be instantly captivated by his charms! A dapper Count has traveled to Seville, Spain, to woo the ravishing Rosina. With the help of his resourceful ally Figaro, the Count disguises himself to gain the company and favor of Rosina. His schemes are temporarily thwarted by Dr. Bartolo, the old curmudgeon who plans to marry her himself and inherit her fortune! All ends merrily however, thanks to the razor sharp wit of opera's most beloved comedian. Rossini’s THE BARBER OF SEVILLE, with its light-hearthed story and familiar score, is a perfect opera for first timers.
