Capital Senior Center's first annual Barbecue & Bluegrass Benefit will be taking place on Saturday, April 18th at 5:30pm. This event will be benefitting the Capital Senior Center's Wheels program. A transportation program for seniors and adults with disabilities.
Featuring:
** Bill Wells and Blue Ridge Mountain Grass: have brought pleasure to audiences for over 30 years from their home base, Bill's Music Shop & Pickin' Parlor on Meeting Street in West Columbia
**Charles Tesh: a professional singer/songwriter. Charles worked for years in Nashville and has written many award winning songs.
BBQ and all the mouth-watering fixin's will be prepared by Wheels' very own volunteer BBQers. The doors will open and we'll begin to serve at 5:30 PM and continue to serve till 7:00 PM. Sit down dining will be in the same room with the music so you won't miss a song. If you can't make it early, come when you can - we'll have something good to eat waiting for you.
