The celebrated co-concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony joins forces with Lyric Opera Orchestra Assistant Principal cellist Barbara Haffner and prize-winning pianist Julia Siciliano for a program of two of the most appealing chamber works by Dvorak and Brahms. The Dvorak “Dumky” Trio is one of that composer’s most ingratiating and the Brahms Trio No.1 is a masterpiece of the genre with some of his most inventive and melodic music.
