Since 1992, Urban Improv has provided its nationally acclaimed, interactive violence prevention and youth development theater programs to Boston’s youth, to stop violence before it starts. Urban Improv: A Rehearsal for Life. Banned in Boston will take place on Friday, April 5. A pre-show soiree will kick-off at the Lansdowne Pub at 6 p.m. After, guests will saunter next door to the House of Blues for the madcap musical revue, which begins at 7:45 p.m. and features leading lights including Governor and Mrs. Patrick, Mayor Thomas Menino and Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton.
