Skits and songs, food and frolic and binders full of women… Don’t miss the funniest fundraiser in town, Urban Improv’s Banned in Boston XXI where Boston’s best known social, political, entertainment and media personalities put themselves in hilarious situations on stage – all for the benefit of Urban Improv. Since 1992, Urban Improv has provided its nationally acclaimed, interactive violence prevention and youth development theater programs to Boston’s youth, to stop violence before it starts. Urban Improv: A Rehearsal for Life. Banned in Boston will take place on Friday, April 5. A pre-show soiree will kick-off at the Lansdowne Pub at 6 p.m. After, guests will saunter next door to the House of Blues for the madcap musical revue, which begins at 7:45 p.m. and features leading lights including Governor and Mrs. Patrick, Mayor Thomas Menino and Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton.
