A blend of tradition and modernity, Nature Bazaar 2009, offers a huge range of craft products ranging from garments, soft furnishings, accessories, jewelry, toys and leather products to pottery, painting, gifts, and decorative items, all exemplifying traditional craft skills designed and coordinated by Dastkar to suit contemporary lifestyles and tastes. Experience the flow and subtle variations of woven Tussar, Kota, Chanderi, Jamdani, Ikat, South Cotton, Khadi and Kutchi and Rajasthani Pattus. The allure of mirrored hand embroidery, block prints, woolen shawls and Natural fiber products and folk art; the rugged vibrancy of Dhokra cast metal and ironware, terracotta pottery, silver & metal jewelry, and cane & bamboo furniture. Add to this the natural goodness of organic food grains, soaps, handmade paper stationery, oils and preserves and much more. To add to the festivities of the bazaar there will also be a special food court offering mouth-watering delicacies in many cuisines.
