This year, the ceaseless innovators Bang on a Can boldly embark on a FREE multi-year Art Music Festival in downtown NYC. Together with its partners the River to River Festival and the World Financial Center Arts & Events, Bang on a Can continues its unparalleled tenure of presenting the most inclusive and innovative vision of music today. Fringe Rock and Pop, Classical, Alt-Jazz, World, and a healthy dose of the bizarre combine in a concert presentation that absolutely stretches beyond classification.
