"BANG! A Love Story," which was released in hardcover in 1998 is both a coming-of-age and a mid-life-crisis novel. It tells the story of the relationship between a bright, precocious, damaged, gun-toting, teenage girl and a middle aged man who is searching for a point of resolve and certainty in his life.
On August 4th the world premiere of the full play will begin a six-week run at the Sidewalk Theatre in Toluca Lake. It will play Fridays and Satudays at 8:00pm until September 16, 2006. Adapted for the stage by Anthony, Bang! will be produced by Kurt Swanson, directed by Christian Kennedy and will feature Jennifer Tetlow, Rico Simonini and Ann Convery.

Anthony Mora, who lives in the Silver Lake section of L.A., began as a freelance writer for such publications as US and Rolling Stone. He has published three books. His play P.O.P. The Principles of Success premiered at the Sidewalk in June. In 2006, Anthony became the playwright-in-residence at The Sidewalk Studio Theatre. The theatre’s production of Bang! A Love Story, marks the world premiere of the full play. In June The Sidewalk Studio theatre produced Anthony’s play, P.O.P.: The Principles of Perfection.
